Answerbank Consulting is to hold capacity-building programmes for officials of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) with responsibilities for implementation of the Freedom of Information Act 2011.
This followed the approval of the Honourable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice of a request for partnership made to the Ministry by Answerbank Consulting Ltd.
The FoIA is one of the reform initiatives of the Federal Government aimed at enhancing openness and transparency and accountability in public stewardship. Its benefits include improved citizen-involvement in governance.
